Marija Dangubić

Marija Dangubić is a PhD candidate at the European Research Centre on Migration and Ethnic Relations (ERCOMER) and the Interuniversity Center for Social Science Theory and Methodology (ICS) at the Utrecht University (The Netherlands). She graduated from Psychology at the University of Belgrade (Serbia). In 2017, she completed the master program Public Opinion and Survey Methodology, an interdisciplinary master program at the University of Lausanne, University of Luzern and University of Neuchâtel (Switzerland). Since November 2017, Marija works on a tolerance project, where she tries to understand attitudes towards religious practices of minority members (particularly Muslims) in Western Christian majority contexts. More concretely, she tries to differentiate principled intolerance (act-based intolerance) from discriminatory intolerance (group-based intolerance) and to examine their underlying mechanisms and potential outcomes.
